Executive Chef Brian McPherson
“Simple food done well.” That’s how Chef McPherson defines his signature cooking style. The Pittsburgh native is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts who has since cooked in top kitchens around the region, from Martha's Vineyard to Durham, N.C., and finally, to Washington, D.C. After some time at sister restaurant Poste Moderne Brasserie, Chef McPherson now brings his special touch to Jackson 20’s Southern-inspired comfort food menu, sourcing the best ingredients through his close relationships with local farmers. In the warmer months, you just might spot him in the Jackson 20 courtyard, tending to his own chef’s garden.
